The phenomenon of “Facebook Disable” in Cambodia happens what?
...many years. Many users reported that upon entering their Facebook or Business Manager account, the system displayed the message “Your account has been disabled due to policy violations” without clearly specifying the reason.
According to the normal causes that lead to a Facebook account being Disable are due to: Deviation from the usage policy (Community Standards) Meta has reinforced its automatic system to confirm and close accounts that post content with violence, blurring the crime, or inappropriate content. Actions such as posting images related to politics or strong emotional topics can lead to the account being reported by other users, and subsequently being Disable by the system.
Through the observation of many users and local media (such as Camboja News and Reddit Cambodia), it is confirmed that the case of Facebook Disable in Cambodia happens to some extent, but these few days it has been more active than before. The phenomenon of Facebook Disable Accounts in Cambodia is not random. It can occur due to many components: _Reinforcement of Meta's campaign to delete fake accounts _AI system catching wrong signal (false positive) _Failure to complete identity verification and the political–social context in the country.
Meta has launched a Global Campaign to Delete Fake Accounts since September. Their AI system can recognize accounts with characteristics such as: Using fake names or multiple accounts with nearly identical names Having spam-like activities: sharing or writing the same comments frequently Creating new accounts frequently from the same device or IP.
Many opinions suggest that Facebook accounts in Cambodia have been closed or lost a lot recently. But they can assume that it is caused by the turmoil of Scam Centers and cybersecurity which is increasing the problem of online fraud, leading South Korea and Cambodia to hold discussions with each other, following the death of a Korean student who was accused of having connection with a scam center in Kampot Province in Cambodia. Press announcements from the United States and the United Kingdom have placed sanction programs on Prince Group and Mr. Chen Zhi in the case of operating scam operations related to Cambodia.
Although Meta has not yet issued an official announcement regarding direct involvement, especially in the context of the crackdown on scam centers and the search for cases of blurring from fraud regimes, and there is also no official evidence confirming that Facebook or Meta has disabled accounts as a direct part of the scam center activities in Cambodia.
Regarding the above issue, please do not yet believe the group of opportunists falsely lying to take your money. Please remain patient for a week to monitor the development of Facebook and Meta upon the completion of the system update. Facebook may have a Tool for appeal for account owners to submit a request to retrieve for usage again...
