Thai forces continue to encroach into Cambodian land in Banteay Meanchey

October 10, 2025 — Banteay Meanchey Province: Joint forces of Thailand were reported to be continuing illegal encroachment activities into Cambodian territory in Prey Chan village, Ou Bei Choan commune, O'Chrov district, Banteay Meanchey province. 

Information from local sources indicated that Thai forces had made movements and activities near the border area, causing concern for citizens in the area.

Local authorities appealed to citizens in the border area to maintain calmness and avoid any activity that could cause further tension. 

Up to now, related government officials have not yet provided an official reaction to this incident.
