...Chanthaburi, Thailand — October 23, 2025: The Joint Boundary Commission (JBC) meeting between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Kingdom of Thailand successfully concluded at 12:30 AM, entering October 23, 2025.
Both sides signed the Joint Minutes of the meeting to confirm the results and understanding of the cooperation process.
This meeting was held for 2 days, from October 21 to October 22, 2025, at Maneechan Resort, Chanthaburi Province, Thailand, in an atmosphere of friendship and good understanding.

In this meeting, both sides discussed:
Following up on results and work accomplished from previous JBC meetings.
Jointly studying, confirming, and observing the land boundary sector in areas that still do not have a clear decision.
Using modern technology, such as LiDAR and Orthophoto Mapping, to help confirm the boundary location accurately.
Continuing to strengthen peaceful relations and developing the border area to become a zone of peace, friendship, and cooperation.
πΉ Context of the meeting
The JBC meeting is a formal forum established to resolve and determine the land boundary sector between the two countries, based on ancient documents and maps recognized by international law.
Some areas of protest, such as Ta Moan Thom, Ta Moan Toch, Ta Krabei, and Mum Bei area, were not placed in the JBC forum to allow both sides to focus on technical work that can be accomplished successively.
This meeting is also the 6th continuation of the JBC forum, which started since 2018, aiming to advance the clear boundary demarcation process and maintain complete peace along the border.

The signing of the Joint Minutes at the end shows that both sides have continued the spirit of deep cooperation, despite some difficult topics.
