🇹🇭 Thai PM Anutin Suspends Peace Program with Cambodia Following Mine Incident **Bangkok — November 10, 2025** Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul announced the suspension of the peace program and activities with Cambodia after two Thai soldiers were injured by a landmine in Si Sa Ket Province. The suspension includes the implementation of the peace memorandum (Kuala Lumpur Peace Accord) signed on October 26, 2025, and the planned transfer of prisoners of war. Mr. Anutin ordered the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of National Defense to submit a formal protest to the Cambodian government regarding the landmine incident via the ASEAN Observer Team (ASEAN IOT). Government Spokesperson, Mr. Siripong Angkasakulkiat, stated that the Prime Minister was “extremely angry” about the incident and commanded both ministries to proceed with the protest against Cambodia through ASEAN measures.
